This listing is for a very long pair of vintage country house green velvet second-hand curtains. The curtains come  with pencil pleats and gold bullion fringing on the bottom hem.

These curtains, along with five other pairs which are not as long, come from a Georgian Manor House on the Herts/Essex borders.  The condition of all these curtains are, as you might expect, less than perfect as they have all been hanging for many many years,

The long pair, as you can see from the pictures, do have one problem, the condensation stains along the bottom edge of the lining. Having said that the extreme length of these curtains means that you could remove the bottom 25 cms and still have curtains which are still well over 300 cms long. We think the cu

The shorter pairs all have some marks on the fabric but these curtains could still easily be used for upholstery projects. You could even wash the curtains as they are cotton velvet. We will be listing these other pairs shortly and you will find them in The Bargain Basement category.
