This listing is for nine pairs of vintage terracotta chenille tape top second-hand curtains. These curtains all come with a ruffle top and interlining and are in reasonable overall condition.

This collection of vintage curtains come from the dining room of a large country house in Cheshire which is now being completely renovated.

All in all there are nine pairs of curtains which are detailed below. However it may be prudent to contact us by phone on 07976 945697 to discuss your requirements and to see how we can satisfy them. So rather than simply doing a condition report we have decided to do this when describing the various sizes of the curtains. All the pairs we have received have a drop of 122 ins or 310 cms.

There are two pairs of the curtains (known here as Pair 1 in the box below) which will each fit a  /pole to an approximate width of 97 ins or 246 cms. These curtains were hanging at a 7 foot wide Georgian window. The condition of these two pairs is as follows: – The fabric of these curtains is mainly good. The fading is more noticeable on the leading edges but again, when hanging, these will all but disappear, especially if you turn the curtains around so the leading edges become the outside edges. The linings are pretty much ok, with no marks or stains, just a bit tired. The price of each pair of these curtains is £175 – ONE PAIR NOW SOLD

There are six pairs of the curtains (known here as Pair 2 in the box below) which will fit a track/pole to an approximate width of 72 ins or 183 cms. These curtains were hanging at a 5 foot Georgian window. The condition of these six pairs is as follows: – All of these six pairs have fading along the leading edge, some more than others, and one or two have some fading along the outside edges as well. The linings of these six pairs are, in the main, in  reasonable vintage condition. Each of these six pairs is priced at £145

There is one pair of curtains (known here as Pair 3 in the box below) which will fit a track/pole to an approximate width of 48 ins or 122 cms. These curtains were hanging at a 4 foot wide Georgian window. The condition of this pair is as follows: The fabric of these curtains is good. There are very faint fade lines and leading edge fading but frankly not noticeable when hanging. The linings are just a tad tired but nothing in the way of marks or stains.
