This listing is for two single cream silk diamond pattern with pearls second-hand curtains. These curtains come with pencil pleats and interlining and are in very good condition. They have come to us from an equally lovely large country house in the far south-west of Cornwall.

Originally there were 10 pairs of these curtains, all the same width but, as is often the case with silk curtains, quite a few of them became frayed along the leading edges. The owners decided quite rightly to repair the damaged curtains by having the fraying removed and the leading edges re-hemmed. This has resulted in two curtains which are from the left-hand side of a pair but could not be matched with another curtain. We have therefore decided to sell them as single/door curtains. Our ratings for these great looking silk curtains are as follows: –

The front fabric of both curtains are in very good clean condition with no marks or stains and the fabric is looking fabulous.  One of the curtains has fraying along the bottom edge although the other is fine. Both curtains are from the left hand of two of the original pairs but are being offered as singles because they don’t have a match! – Rating 9/10

The  linings and the interlining are all in very good condition with no marks, stains or fading evident – Rating 9/10

Curtain 1 will fit a track/pole to an approximate width of 40 ins or 101 cms with a drop of 106 ins or 270 cms. The ungathered width of the curtain is 76 ins or 193 cms so you could obtain extra width by un-gathering the pencil pleats slightly.

Curtain 2 will also fit a track/pole to an approximate width of 40 ins or 101 cms with a drop of 106 ins or 270 cms. The ungathered width of the curtain is 76 ins or 193 cms so you could obtain extra width by un-gathering the pencil pleats slightly. The fraying along the bottom hem could be remedied by taking up the curtains about 7 ins or 18 cms.
