This post explains how Divinely Vintage Interiors is using Artificial Intelligence (A.I) with second-hand curtains. The basis of the idea is to help our customers to visualise how our curtains will look in their home. Some potential customers, especially those who live too far away to visit our Divinely Vintage Interiors showroom, find it hard to imagine how curtains on our website might dress their home. The way we use AI to help with this is as follows: –

- Take a photo of the room where your curtains will hang and send it to us via our Whatsapp. Feel free to use more than one angle if this helps and our number is 07976945697. Also tell us which curtains you are thinking of buying.
- Using AI (Artificial Intelligence) we will insert the curtains into your picture(s) and send it/them back to you.
We cannot avoid AI any more but if we’re going to use it it should at least be for your benefit. We don’t use AI with the text part of the website as we are great believers in using plain English. Feedback from customers who visit the site back this up.
However with pictures there is no doubt that AI does have benefits. We have been using AI to help potential customers visualise what our curtains would look like in their room(s). One customer who did make use of this and subsequently bought the curtains sent us the following message.
“The AI picture definitely cemented my decision. The fabric looked lovely but it was hard to imagine how it would dress the window so this was a great bonus. Regards, Marion B”
